NAMI Fox Valley offers free classes throughout the year for family members and loved ones of those living with mental health conditions. Classes are taught by trained mentors who have been there. In NAMI Fox Valley's family education programs, family is viewed from a broad perspective to include parents, siblings, spouses, sons and daughters, partners and significant others. The classes are designed to help all family members understand and support their loved one with a mental health condition while maintaining their own well-being. Family to Family is for family members of adults living with mental health conditions, and NAMI Basics is for family members of adolescents living with mental health conditions.

Family-to-Family

For family members, partners, parents and friends of adults living with mental health conditions

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session class for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. Research shows that the class significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to an individual living with a mental health condition.
