Ending the Silence Presentations
Young Adult Speakers & Lead Presenters
NAMI Ending the Silence is an engaging presentation that helps audiences learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what to do if you or a loved one show symptoms of a mental illness. During Ending the Silence, a lead presenter shares an informative presentation and a young adult with a mental health condition shares their journey of recovery. Training and stipends will be provided.

Marketing Distribution
Quarterly Position
NAMI Fox Valley is in need of volunteers to help distribute our marketing material to various businesses, organizations and agencies in the Fox Valley area. Marketing material would be redistributed to locations quarterly.

NAMIWalks
NAMIWalks events bring together people of all ages and fitness levels to combat stigma, raise funds and promote awareness of mental illness. Volunteers are needed to help run the event. Other pre- and post-event volunteer opportunities include: recruiting sponsors, fundraising, mailings, set-up and tear-down, helping with the silent raffle/auction, and other miscellaneous jobs.

NAMI Talks Speakers Bureau
Attend about 20 hours of training provided by NAMI to do community presentations to organizations, businesses and groups that help break down stigma and enrich audiences' understanding of mental illness. Specific presentations allow volunteers to share their stories of recovery and living well with a mental illness.

Front Desk Receptionist
SUBSTITUTE AS NEEDED
This is a position for those who are willing and available to sub in for our agency's regularly scheduled receptionists as needed. Training is provided. Duties include greeting visitors, answering phones, taking messages and registering people for programs and classes.

Gardening & Maintenance
HANDY-MEN & HANDY-WOMEN NEEDED
Volunteers are needed for spring and fall clean-up and periodic maintenance during summer months; small repairs; and painting projects at our main office and Iris Place Peer Run Respite.

Family-to-Family Facilitator
Applicants must graduate from the Family-to-Family Course and attend training provided by NAMI.
Peer-to-Peer Mentor
Applicants must graduate from the Peer-to-Peer Course, complete a separate application and complete training provided by NAMI.
Support Group Facilitator
Applicants must be attending a NAMI support group. Must complete a separate application and attend training provided by NAMI.
