What a wonderful day we had on Saturday, October 9 at NAMIWalks Fox Valley 2021! With over 300 registered walkers either joining us at Fox Cities Stadium or participating remotely, the energy was palpable as we united together in support of mental health for all!
The words "thank you" hardly begin to express my deep gratitude to each one of you who played a part in making this year's Walk a success. Whether you were a Walk participant who devoted yourself to awareness-building and fundraising, a donor, a volunteer, or helped in some other way, your passion and efforts are so incredibly appreciated.
Thanks to you, this year's Walk surpassed its fundraising goal, raising over $105,000 for NAMI Fox Valley's mental health programs! These funds will help to ensure the continued operation and growth of support groups, peer and family education, community trainings, classroom mental health and suicide prevention programs, one-on-one support opportunities, and so much more in the year ahead.
Just as importantly, by supporting the Walk and letting others know why it is meaningful to you, you helped to raise mental health awareness across our community and beyond.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for supporting NAMIWalks Fox Valley 2021 -- and for being a partner in bringing NAMI Fox Valley's mission to life.
