On Saturday, October 4, under sunshine and crisp autumn skies, more than 400 walkers gathered at Fox Cities Stadium for NAMIWalks Fox Valley 2025 in celebration of community, hope, and resilience. Participants came together not only to move their bodies, but also to move the conversation around mental health, raise awareness, and support those affected by mental illness. Walking together, individuals honored friends or family members, stood up for their own mental health journeys, or simply joined the movement recognizing that roughly 20 % of people in our community live with a diagnosable mental health condition.
This year’s event was a record setting success! Together, 478 participants on 47 teams raised an incredible $117,320, surpassing the original goal of $100,000. These funds will make a meaningful impact by supporting NAMI Fox Valley’s free mental health programs for individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to every participant, every team, and every volunteer who helped cultivate a positive, uplifting event filled with purpose. Whether you walked for yourself, in memory of someone you love, or simply to show solidarity for mental health, your presence made a tangible difference.
Fundraising plays a vital role in making these programs possible, and this year’s walkers went above and beyond.
