"The most shocking thing about mental illness is
how little most people understand about it.”

Our Mission

NAMI Fox Valley exists to improve the quality of life for those with brain disorders (mental illness) and their families and friends through education, support, advocacy and research.

Our Vision

Through our individual and collective efforts, we will live in a community where mental illnesses are recognized as physical illnesses and treated as such.

NAMI WALKS

NAMI WALKS for the Mind of America is a fundraising and awareness-raising component of NAMI’s Campaign for the Mind of America. Over the past three years, NAMI WALKS has been established as a major success. In local communities across the country, millions of dollars have been raised to ensure more advocacy, education and support services are available to those in need.   Visit the National NAMI WALKS  online to find out more information about this event or to register your team on-line or to make a pledge to NAMIWALKS for the Mind of America.
